GPS / GPX Files
BETA: Offering “official” GPS/GPX tracks of the Superior Fall Trail Race is new. If you upload these on to a device for training or racing, use caution. We are open to hearing your feedback / experience. Read all of the info below.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: Below you will find links to download GPS / GPX files for the Superior Fall Trail Race via ‘plotaroute’. It is important to note that due to human and technological error, either on your end or ours, last minute course changes, etc. GPX tracks provided may not upload / render or be 100% accurate. It is important to to take into consideration several sources of information when navigating including the course markings that we put out, Superior Hiking Trail / North Country Trail ‘blue blazes’, and static race course maps, in addition to GPS. Generally speaking it is important to keep in mind that besides the starts of each race distance (in order to spread runners out) and the “spur in – spur out” aid stations (Split Rock, Tettegouche and Finland), and the final mile into the finish at Caribou Highlands, the race is held entirely on the (main / signed and blue-blazed) Superior Hiking Trail. Assuming nobody tampers with the course markings, the course markings we put out will always keep you on the race course. More information about how we mark the course can be found HERE https://www.superiorfalltrailrace.com/trail-markings/
